Global Teacher Prize 2019 Top 10 Finalist

Yesterday I heard that Mr. Hidekazu Shoto was chosen as the top 10 finalists in Global Tacher Prize 2019.

Mr. Shoto is one of the most passionate teachers in Japan, and I was inspired when I took his seminar two years ago.

I visited Ritsumeikan Primary school two weeks ago. I participated in Mr. Shoto's class, where the 6 graders were using their own notebook computers and they were enjoying having a conversation with the people in other countries through skype. They were also making a certain program using their computers, which was amazing.

I felt that all of the students admired Mr. Shoto and enjoyed using English.

As an English teacher, I will update my teaching skills as well as my English proficiency so that I can help my students be autonomous learners.
